• Important: the doors inside the elevator must be closed, even when it is empty, otherwise it cannot be called from another floor. The doors are closed properly if after a few seconds the light in the elevator and the red light are off.
• The intercom is outside - the top button to the right of the door labeled “litvin/andreenko.” The connection is via the telephone in the living room, the door is opened with the top button under the receiver.
• The door to the kitchen balcony must be held from above (who needs ventilation there???)
• My computer lives in the storage room, and I sometimes use it. It was too heavy to take with me. It is not noisy.
• If something goes completely wrong and for some reason you can't reach me, call Lera. She has the apartment owner's contact information in case of an emergency.

• The maximum consumption for the entire apartment is 3 kW, which is typical for Italy. If the power consumption is somewhere between 3.5 and 4 kW, the circuit breakers will trip after a couple of dozen seconds. They are located in the hallway in a closed (!) white box under the meter. The circuit breakers under this box behind a transparent door are different; they are tripped in case of real problems with short circuits. If the power is exceeded at the moment, the meter displays something like “super potenza” on the screen.
• Powerful appliances - kettle (~2 kW), washing machine and dishwasher in the water heating phase, microwave oven, air conditioners set to high power. A kettle + washing machine, kettle + dishwasher, washing machine + dishwasher (in the heating phase), kettle + a couple of air conditioners not set to minimum will definitely blow the fuses.

Garbage is sorted and disposed of daily, except on Sundays. We usually accumulate garbage in white bins in the kitchen by the window (plastic, glass/tin, paper) and under the sink (organic and dry garbage). In the evening (preferably not before 9 or 10 p.m.), the trash that is thrown out on the next day is transferred to larger bins on the balcony and placed outside the entrance. Our bins are marked with a long strip of tape stuck on top of the lid. They must be picked up the next day.

Schedule:

• Monday - organic waste brown bin, in biodegradable plastic bags
• Tuesday - glass/tin green bin, no bags, and dry waste black bin, in any bags
• Wednesday - organic waste brown bin, in biodegradable plastic bags and paper blue bin, no bags
• Thursday - dry waste black bin, in any bags
• Friday - plastic no bin, in a large yellow bag
• Saturday - organic waste brown bin, in biodegradable plastic bags

The waste is collected by the services in the morning (early or not so early) of the specified day, i.e. the boxes are put out the day before.

Organic waste and dry waste must be placed in bags in the bins, paper and glass/tin - without bags.
Garbage bags - small opaque biodegradable bags for organic waste, blue bags (any other color is acceptable) for dry waste, large yellow bags for plastic - are located in the kitchen in the middle pull-out drawer.
